Miah May
Miah May is a Brisbane / Gold Coast -based singer, songwriter, and performer whose voice moves between tender vulnerability and fierce conviction. Drawing from motown, alt-pop, soul, country and indie folk, her music is built on honest storytelling and melodies that linger long after the last note fades.
Miah grew up surrounded by music — from late-night kitchen singalongs to school stages that felt too small for the songs already forming in her head. She picked up her first mic at (can't remember when) and never really put it down.
Over the years she has played intimate acoustic sets, festival stages, and everything in between — always chasing that moment when a room goes quiet and a lyric lands somewhere in-between.
Today Miah performs both as a solo artist and as the voice of Diatonic Beats, bringing warmth, grit, and genuine heart.
